Step 3: Background Check

All interested families/individuals must take and pass a background check through Guardian, the system used for foster family agencies. All paperwork will be filled out and provided by Sought After staff. The family/individual interested in becoming a resource family with our agency must pay for the fingerprint fee out of pocket (usually $15). However, If the family/individual passes the background check, Sought After will reimburse the family/individual for the background check fees.
